  1. What are these terms and conditions?
    1.1 The following terms and conditions contain terms on the basis of which KAOORI acts, works with brands to sell their goods, and on which website users purchase products. These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the website.

1.2 Before placing an order, read our terms and conditions carefully to ensure that you agree to all of the points listed here. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Definitions
The following definitions are used in these general terms and conditions:

“Account” – a user’s account on the Kaoori website. Created after a user submits the registration form on the website
“Shopping Cart” – the online shopping cart, linked to your account on the website, in which all the products you have selected to purchase are collected
“Customer” – the user who purchases Kaoori products through the website
“Products” – the goods ordered by a user
“Order” – the invitation to purchase products of one or more brands
made by a user

“Kaoori”, “we” and “us” are references to Kaoori Ltd.
“Brand” – the designer, woodworker, or artisan of products featured on the Kaoori website
“Website” – www.kaoori.co.uk and its subdomains, social media profiles and mobile applications from Kaoori
“User”, “your” and “you” – the user of the site.

3. Acceptance of the general terms and conditions

3.1 By using the website and/or placing an order, you agree to comply with our general terms and conditions.

3.2 Kaoori can change the general terms and conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes to the following terms and conditions by email (the email address you entered when registering on the website).
By continuing to use the website and/or placing an order after changes to the terms and conditions, you agree to these changes.

3.3 You can always check the latest updates to our Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the website in the “Terms and Conditions” section. It is your responsibility to be familiar with all points of the terms and conditions.

4. How to order an order
4.1 Users can check the website for free and have the right to view all available products listed on the website without being obliged to order.

4.2 If you wish to purchase products from the website, you can select them by clicking the “Add to Cart” button on the product page.

4.3 If you click on “Add to shopping cart”, the product displayed on the product page will be transferred to your shopping cart. You can check your shopping cart at any time by selecting the shopping cart icon at the top right of any page on the website.

4.4 By adding products to your shopping cart, there is no binding obligation between the website and the user. You can delete all products from your shopping cart at any time before paying by clicking the “Remove” button under the relevant products in your shopping cart.

4.5 After you have finished selecting products, you can select the “Checkout” button at the bottom of your shopping cart to submit the order.

4.6 The next step will ask you to log into your account. If you don’t already have an account, you will be asked to register as a guest or create an account.

Immediately after logging into your account (or after you have registered an account or registered as a guest) you will be redirected to our website for secure payment providers. You will be asked to enter your credit or debit card details and click “Submit”. Depending on your card provider, it may redirect to a card verification page where certain letters or numbers of the password must be entered to secure the payment. The card verification site is operated by your card issuer.

4.7 Discount/promo codes and gift vouchers can be restricted or canceled at any time without prior notice. The use of discount/coupon codes and gift certificates is limited to one per person unless otherwise stated.

4.8 Kaoori will not see, receive or have your credit or debit card details, the letters, or the numbers of your secret code (if you are required to enter them). This information is only open to the payment provider and/or your card issuer (if applicable).

4.9 When your payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email from Kaoori.

4.10 After completing the payment process, which is deemed to have been completed immediately after submitting your credit or debit card details, an order must have been placed.

4.11 The order is considered accepted as soon as it has been sent by the brands to the address you provided during the registration phase.

4.12 The cancellation and refund policies listed below apply to this order.

5. Delivery

5.1 The brand uses a courier to deliver the products to the customer at the address provided by the customer during the registration phase.

5.2 Shipping costs (if applicable) are stated on the product page and will be added at checkout.

5.3 Kaoori and the brands use third parties for delivery services. If the estimated deadlines are not met, it is not our responsibility or the responsibility of the brands.

5.4 If you order products from our website for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. Payment of such import duties and taxes is your responsibility as we have no control over and cannot predict the amount of these charges. Please contact your local customs office for more information before placing your order.

6. Returns
6.1 If for any reason you wish to return your order, you have the right to do so within 14 days of receipt after completing our return form.

6.2 All items must be returned new, unused and with all labels and original packaging. Please note: We cannot return items that have been used or returned in an unsaleable condition. Returns that do not meet our guidelines will not be accepted and will be returned to you.

6.3 To return products that have been delivered to you, simply follow the instructions on the back of the delivery note that comes with your order.

6.4 Products must be returned to the brand with their original packing slip as Kaoori will issue a full refund for the value of the products.

6.5 Refunds will only be issued to the payment method originally used. Shipping or handling charges are not included in the refund amount.

6.6 We strongly recommend that you ship all returned items with a secure item signed for service. All returned items must be insured for the full amount paid and signed on delivery.

6.7 Kaoori or Brand is not responsible for the loss of or damage to the products. That said, it is recommended that you keep proof of shipping receipt for all returned products.

6.8 If products delivered to you are damaged, faulty or incorrectly delivered, Kaoori will reimburse the postage costs for the return.

6.9 If you have opted for a refund, Kaoori will credit the original buyer’s credit / debit card with the amount paid within 3 working days of the brand being notified of receipt of the returned products. It can take 2-3 business days for card refunds to appear in your account.

6.10 Orders that are used for commercial purposes and then returned (e.g. for use as samples for photography) will be actively monitored. Kaoori reserves the right to refuse delivery for future orders to customers suspected of engaging in this activity.

7. Responsibility

7.1 By downloading and/or using the Website, you agree not to upload, publish, email, or otherwise send or transmit any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms or other computer code, Contains files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment connected to the website.

7.2 You agree and undertake to treat your user name and password confidentially, not to disclose your password to other persons, and not to allow any other person to log in to the website with your user name and password.

7.3 You agree not to interfere with the servers or networks connected to the website or to violate the procedures, guidelines or regulations of the networks connected to the website, including these terms and conditions.

8. Kaoori reserves the following rights by granting you access to the website, publishing products and allowing you to purchase from the website:

(a) the right, in accordance with applicable law, to deny or revoke your access to the Website at any time (with or without notice) for any reason if, in Kaoori’s sole discretion, you breach or breach these Terms and Conditions;

(b) the right to suspend, change or deactivate your account without notice or without giving a reason;
(c) the right to remove or change products without giving a reason;
(d) the right to cancel an order or to change an order in part without giving a reason or reason, unless Kaoori in these circumstances reimburses the part of the order that was canceled by Kaoori;
(e) the right to change or update the website, the prices of products, billing methods, or these Terms and Conditions from time to time;
