It was better than I expected, a really nice wood set. It looks good, the board lies flat, and the board closes up nicely with all the pieces inside.

My 10 year old grandson is just learning the game and I wanted to get him a nice usable set that didn’t look like a toy. He’s taken a real interest in learning how to play, but is not very good about storing his things. I love that the box holds all the pieces so they will hopefully stay together. I think he will like it a lot.
