3" French Knight Chessmen Ebonised are a great example of the best traditions in the French Staunton style. Their exquisite quality is so much more than you would expect from a modestly priced set. The finish and the wood quality exceed all expectations. All the chess pieces are masterfully carved from solid boxwood. The black pieces are ebonised, which means they are finished to resemble real ebony, but they are also available in the brown (acacia) version, as well as different sizes. They are all weighted and felted at the bottom for your comfort. Every piece has a perfect finish and has been hand-polished to give you the best possible chess experience.
