3.5" Stallion Knight Chessmen are beautifully hand crafted from quality ebonised boxwood. The design is elegant Staunton, with sweeping shanks and a distinctive knight that features a detailed mane, carved teeth and swept back ears. Stallion Ebonised set has beautiful details (intricately carved king’s crown and queen’s head). “English stallion” - the knight’s piece, has proudly raised head and bared teeth, ready to defend his king at all cost. It is available only in black (ebonised) version. All pieces are carefully polished and weighted. The quality of finish and attention to detail on these solid wooden chessmen is far beyond what you expect from such a modestly priced set.
